ADSS cables are stranded loose tubes. two hundred and fifty μ M of fiber is placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The pipe is filled with a waterproof filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are twisted around FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) as a non-metallic central reinforcement to form a compact circular cable core. After the cable core is filled with filler. It is covered with a thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath. After the aramid yarn stranded layer is applied on the inner sheath as a reinforcement, the cable is completed together with the PE or at (anti tracking) outer sheath.
